We asked participants to comment on some of the logistical and practical considerations surrounding the participation of young survivors, particularly in group-based activities. One area we were interested in was the concept of ‘readiness’ – when and who decides when a young survivor may be ‘ready’ to be engaged in particular types of initiatives and activities, such as joining an advisory group or contributing to resource or project development. We also wanted to understand more about risk assessment processes, who was involved in these processes and how they were undertaken. We have produced this briefing to convey what participants shared in response to this topic.en_US
