    Abstract
Based on investigation and analysis of the supply of 14 main vegetables in Beijing,a set of supply curves was derived.A multiobjective programming model was used to obtain a reasonable distribution of planned acreage between vegetables. The 14 alternatives(A to N),such as to satisfy the market need,to maxmize the income of vegetable farmers,to minimize the subsidy payment,to check the effect of substitution between some vegetables, etc., were examined.Simulation result showed that alternative H would be the best choice.
